How I Help
Fractional Executive Operations for Founders
The strategic thinking of a Chief of Staff. The operational ownership of a Director of Operations. The trusted support of an exceptional executive partner.
I partner with founders whose businesses have outgrown the way they're currently operating—bringing structure to priorities, systems, projects, communication, and execution so the business stops depending entirely on you.
Whether you need a focused reset to find what's getting in the way, or an ongoing operational partner embedded in how the business runs, we'll meet the business where it is and build what it needs next.
The Real Problem
The Question Isn't "What Can I Take Off Your Plate?"
It's: Why does everything keep landing there in the first place?
- Maybe you're spending too much time following up.
- Maybe projects move quickly when you're involved—and stall when you're not.
- Maybe your team is capable, but ownership isn't always clear.
- Maybe meetings generate ideas without enough execution.
- Or maybe the business has simply grown faster than the systems behind it.
None of that necessarily means you need to hire another employee. Sometimes what you need is someone who can step into the complexity, see the whole picture, and help create the structure that keeps things moving.
That's where Compass & Clarity comes in.
Signature Entry Offer
The Founder Operational Reset
The clearest starting point when you know it shouldn't feel this hard to run.
Best for: Founders who sense the business has outgrown how it's currently operating—but aren't sure exactly what needs fixing first.
A focused engagement that audits how the business actually runs today, diagnoses where the friction and founder dependencies are, and prioritizes what to fix first.
What this addresses:
- Operational bottlenecks and workflow gaps
- Founder dependencies and unclear ownership
- Communication breakdowns across tools and teams
- Undocumented processes living in people's heads
- Execution gaps and immediate priorities
The process:
What changes:
- A clear picture of where the business is actually creating friction.
- A prioritized roadmap for what to fix first—not a list of tasks.
- A defined path forward, whether or not we continue working together.

Focused Intensives
Solve One High-Impact Challenge
Without starting with a long-term engagement.
Best for: Founders who know something isn't working and want focused strategy, structure, and implementation around one specific challenge.
Sometimes you don't need ongoing partnership. You need the right person to step in, diagnose the problem, build the solution, and help you move forward.

Discuss an IntensiveNot Sure Which You Need?
You Don't Have to Diagnose the Business Before You Call Me.
In fact, that's part of my job. You may know that things feel harder than they should without knowing whether the answer is a Chief of Staff, better systems, stronger project management, clearer accountability—or some combination of all four.
We'll start with what's happening inside the business.
- What's working?
- What's getting stuck?
- What keeps landing back on you?
- What aren't you getting to?
- And where does the business need to go next?
From there, I'll recommend the level of partnership that makes sense.
Find Your Operational BottleneckThe Compass Method™
Every Engagement Starts With Direction.
Direction → Infrastructure → Rhythm
We begin by identifying what actually matters, build the operational infrastructure necessary to support it, and establish the rhythms that make progress repeatable.
Discover The Compass MethodWhat Makes This Different?
This Isn't Traditional Consulting.
I'm not here to hand you a 40-page strategy deck and disappear. And I'm not here simply waiting for you to tell me what to do next.
Compass & Clarity sits in the middle.
Strategic enough to see the whole picture.
Operational enough to build the solution.
Hands-on enough to help make it happen.
That means our work can move seamlessly between a CEO strategy conversation, a leadership meeting, a broken workflow, an executive dashboard, a stalled project, and the operating system connecting all of them.
Because in a growing business, those things aren't separate. They're connected.
And someone needs to see the connections.
What Partnership Looks Like in Practice
Less Firefighting. More Forward Motion.
Case Study — Strategic Execution
Challenge
Within a complex university environment serving faculty, administrators, researchers, and graduate students, critical work wasn't always supported by clear, standardized processes. Workflows were undocumented or inconsistent, information was scattered, deadlines were hard to track, and getting the right answer often depended on knowing who to ask rather than following a clear process. Too much of the how depended on institutional knowledge living with individual people.
What We Built / Changed
We turned knowledge into infrastructure—creating new SOPs, documenting undocumented processes, redesigning inherited workflows, overseeing thesis requirements, building templates and standardized documentation, and creating clearer communications. We built repeatable workflows for roughly 10–20 programs and events per semester, standardized registration and event processes, developed post-event evaluations, built budget tracking and reconciliation, and trained others so processes were less dependent on any one person.
Result
Processes that depended on individual knowledge became documented and repeatable. Faculty, students, and administrators had clearer information for navigating requirements, programs and events ran on consistent workflows instead of being rebuilt each time, and operational knowledge became easier to communicate and transfer because more of the how existed outside of individual people's heads.
Case Study — Systems + Operations
Challenge
The owner of an established landscaping company was balancing field operations with leading the business. His attention moved constantly between job sites, team needs, customers, sales, finances, HR, and email. Without structure, responses slipped, the calendar wasn't strategic, and higher-level work lost out to the day's demands—he was reacting to the business instead of intentionally leading it.
What We Built / Changed
We built a practical executive operating rhythm around how the owner actually works—structuring his days around what demanded his attention and what deserved it: daily schedule overviews, protected email windows, deep-work blocks, visibility into team availability, strategic meeting coordination, and dedicated time for field commitments, financial review, sales, HR, and admin follow-through—plus identifying work to delegate or outsource.
Result
The owner now starts each day with a clear view of where his attention needs to go. Protected email windows and deep-work blocks keep communication and higher-level work from being buried by urgency, and greater visibility across staffing, finances, sales, and field commitments reduces the chance important responsibilities disappear beneath what feels most urgent.
Case Study — Executive Partnership
Challenge
A founder launching a new venture brought us in to regain control of an inbox with hundreds of unread emails. But email was only one piece of a larger gap—little formal executive infrastructure, a calendar not used strategically, and no centralized priorities or systems to support the business as it took shape.
What We Built / Changed
What began as inbox management evolved into an executive operations partnership: inbox organization, calendar management, executive dashboards, opportunity and acquisition tracking, meeting documentation, follow-up systems, and operating rhythms that created visibility around priorities and execution.
Result
Hundreds of unread emails → Inbox Zero—and beyond that, increasing structure around how information, priorities, meetings, and follow-up are managed, with a strategic operations partner building the systems the new business needs as it grows.
We May Be a Great Fit If...
We may be a great fit if...
- You're a founder or CEO whose business has become increasingly complex.
- You're spending too much time coordinating instead of leading.
- You have talented people—but need stronger alignment and accountability around them.
- You have more ideas and priorities than execution capacity.
- You're tired of being the central point through which every decision, project, and follow-up flows.
- You value initiative and want someone who will think alongside you rather than wait for instructions.
- And you're willing to change systems that no longer serve the business you've become.
We probably aren't the right fit if...
- You're primarily looking for inexpensive task execution.
- You want someone who will simply follow instructions without questioning the process.
- You're unwilling to create clarity around priorities, ownership, or accountability.
- Or you're looking for a quick fix without changing how the business operates.
That's okay.
Compass & Clarity is intentionally built around partnership—not task delegation.
FAQ
Questions, Answered.
An Executive Assistant often focuses primarily on supporting the executive's day-to-day effectiveness through areas such as calendar, communication, coordination, and administrative execution. A Fractional Chief of Staff operates more broadly across the leader's priorities and organization—helping translate strategy into execution, coordinate strategic initiatives, improve decision-making visibility, align stakeholders, and create accountability around what matters most. At Compass & Clarity, executive support may be part of a broader engagement when it directly strengthens how the leader operates, but the partnership is ultimately built around strategic execution and operational effectiveness.
The goal isn't to make you better at carrying everything.
It's to build a business that doesn't require you to.
You already have the vision. Let's create the clarity, systems, and operational rhythm that help turn it into reality.
